Hadhramout Governorate witnessed today the launch of the honoring ceremony celebrating the graduation of 153 female graduates from the “Rural Female Teachers” Project – Bachelor’s track. The project targeted the districts of Daw’an, Wadi Al-Ain, Hawrah, and Huraidah, funded by Al-Awn Foundation for Development and Silah Foundation for Development, and directly implemented by the Faculty of Education at Hadhramout University.

The ceremony was held under the patronage of Mr. Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi, Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadhramout, and Prof. Amin Noman Al-Qudsi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in the presence of a number of officials and educational and academic leaders.

The event highlighted the importance of investing in human capital through education, emphasizing that the impact of education extends beyond classrooms to contribute to community development and sustainable growth.

The graduation marks a significant milestone, as the graduates are expected to play vital roles as teachers, educators, and mothers, contributing to shaping future generations and improving the educational environment in targeted rural areas.

The success of this initiative reflects a strong and integrated partnership between Al-Awn Foundation for Development, Silah Foundation for Development, and the academic supervision of Hadhramout University, presenting a model to be emulated in empowering communities and enhancing access to education in rural regions.

The “Rural Female Teachers” Project is considered one of the key initiatives aimed at qualifying female educational cadres in remote areas, helping bridge the educational gap and achieve sustainable educational development.
